What to Expect When Skydiving with GoSkydive

Before you Arrive:

The team will have been in touch with multiple communications regarding your skydive. What to wear, when to arrive and any forms you’ll be needing for the day will be sent via SMS and email. Ensure to give all of this a thorough read and have your check-in code ready for the big day!

When you arrive at GoSkydive:

You’ll immediately notice the professionalism and dedication of their experienced team from ground crew right through to our instructors. They’ll guide you through the check-in process and your induction where you’ll learn what will happen on the day. Ensuring that you feel confident and secure throughout the entire experience. GoSkydive places the highest priority on safety, using state-of-the-art equipment and rigorous training to ensure your skydiving adventure is as safe as possible.

Pre-Jump Preparation:

Once you’re all kitted up, it’s time to prepare for your jump. You’ll receive a thorough briefing in our hanging harness simulation centre. Our highly skilled instructors will cover the basics of skydiving, including body positioning, parachute deployment, and landing techniques. Feel free to ask any questions you may have – GoSkydive’s instructors are there to ease any concerns and ensure you’re well-prepared for the leap of a lifetime. You’ll be called to our Flight Line ready to be acquainted with your instructor and if you’ve opted for a media package this is where we’ll capture your pre-flight interview!

The Aircraft Ride:

As you board the aircraft, excitement builds as you ascend to your jump altitude. During the ascent, take a moment to savour the breathtaking views that unfold before your eyes. The scenic journey to altitude allows you to appreciate the beauty of the surroundings and mentally prepare for the upcoming adventure. Whether you’re jumping over the Wiltshire countryside or the Gower Peninsula the views are amazing!

The Thrilling Freefall:

Once you reach the designated altitude, it’s time for the main event – the heart-pounding freefall. As you exit the aircraft, you’ll experience an adrenaline rush like no other. The feeling of weightlessness combined with the rush of wind against your face creates an exhilarating sensation that is hard to put into words. For those precious moments, you’ll feel a true sense of freedom as you soar through the sky, taking in the panoramic views below.

Parachute Descent and Landing:

After an incredible freefall, your instructor will deploy the parachute, and the exhilarating rush will transition into a peaceful descent. As you float serenely through the air, you’ll have a chance to appreciate the awe-inspiring scenery from a unique perspective. Your instructor may even let you take control of the parachute, allowing you to steer and navigate your way around the skies! Finally, you’ll experience a soft and controlled landing, guided expertly by your instructor.
